Reverend Julian Kyula, head preacher of Ruach Assemblies, has shared a remarkable encounter in which a stranger pledged USD 25 million (approximately Ksh 3.2 billion) to support the development of a city he envisioned a decade ago.
Speaking on the fourth day of the Koinonia Global Faith Convention in Nigeria on Saturday, November 22, 2025, Kyula recounted that the man initially invited him to bless a newly acquired plot of land valued at the substantial sum. During the visit, however, the individual proposed a partnership to expedite Kyula’s long-term city project.
The Kenyan preacher described the encounter as a reinforcement of his belief in divine provision. “He said, ‘I know, I called you to bless it, but because you operate as a king priest, I wanted to propose something different.’ He reminded me of the city I announced 10 years ago and offered to partner so it could become a reality,” Kyula shared.
Kyula emphasized that this experience exemplifies the concept of Nehemiah grace, a biblical principle highlighting that God can provide resources and opportunities without struggle. “Some of you think you are going to struggle for the things God wants to do for you, but I want you to understand that someone, somewhere, has already been set for your assignment,” he said.
During the convention, Reverend Kyula received a red-carpet welcome from Apostle Joshua Selman, founder of Koinonia Global Ministries, who introduced him to the congregation and commended his integrity, character, and impact in Kenya and across Africa. Kyula was guided to a carefully prepared podium amid choir performances, with attendees rising to celebrate his presence.
Apostle Selman highlighted his long-standing friendship with Kyula, praising his dedication to ministry and influence across the continent through initiatives such as Kenya’s Rhema Feast. “We are happy and honoured to have him from the beautiful nation of Kenya. Now I love Africa, but I love Kenya,” he said.
The convention, often described as Nigeria’s version of Kenya’s Rhema Feast, also featured prominent ministers including Lady Bishop Funke Felix Adejumo, Pastor Poju Oyemade, Nathaniel Bassey, and Bishop David Abioye.
This partnership offer marks a significant milestone in Reverend Kyula’s decade-long vision to build a city, reflecting the impact of faith-aligned opportunities and divine timing.
