Content creator Baba Talisha was left shocked after discovering that his stolen iPhone 15 Pro Max, initially taken in Ngong Town, had been transported all the way to Uganda.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, 12 November 2025, Talisha detailed the events following the theft, highlighting the frustration he experienced in tracking his device. On Monday, 10 November, he received an email on his MacBook indicating that the lost iPhone remained in Ngong Town for six to seven hours. Shortly afterward, his iCloud account was signed out, preventing live tracking. Although friends offered assistance, no timely action could be taken.

Later that night, around 11 pm, Talisha checked the phone’s location again and discovered it was moving toward Kisumu, passing through Ahero. He suspected the device was being transported to Uganda.

“Actually, the phones get transported in a bus because I could tell it stopped at a place for about 20 minutes, like long-distance buses normally do,” Talisha explained.

Warning to Fans and the Public

The content creator expressed deep frustration with authorities, noting that despite providing precise location coordinates, no effective action was taken.

“I got really disappointed, especially since I had told them where the phones were before they left Ngong Town,” he said.

Baba Talisha also issued a warning to his followers, urging vigilance at public events. He highlighted that thieves often buy tickets in advance to access crowded events and steal multiple phones at once.

“Be aware. Hivyo ndivyo simu zangu zimeenda na kuvuka border. I think there is no other hope after that… Everything that happens always has a better cause. But the setback is so huge and devastating. All the work is gone,” he added.

This incident serves as a stark reminder of the risks of phone theft at public gatherings and the challenges of recovering devices once they cross borders.
