Miscellaneous Application Against Rally Driver Maxine Wahome Withdrawn
13/03/2023 11:08 in National News

A miscellaneous application brought against Safari Rally driver Maxine Wahome has been dropped.

This comes after the prosecution decided to charge her with the murder of her fellow rally driver and boyfriend, Asad Khan.

The prosecution submitted the application in December 2022 to allow them to complete their investigation.

The case will now be heard in the High Court on March 15, where Maxine is anticipated to plead murder charges.

On March 7, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) requested that the suspect be detained at Kilimani police station for mental examination before registering a plea.
