Wajir: Several Injured as KDF Chopper Crashes While Taking Off

A Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) helicopter crashed while flying in the Wajir region on Monday.

The plane was delivering food to flood-affected families in Buna town, Wajir North region.

According to Abdia Manya, the coordinator of the Wajir County Red Cross, many people, including pilots and teachers, are being treated for their injuries.

The injured were admitted to Buna Sub-County Hospital.
