Gaza receives more aid amid Israel-Hamas War Ceasefire
27/11/2023 19:53 in World News

Trucks loaded with aid from Egypt entered the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing on Monday.

The day before, the Palestine Red Crescent Society had sent 50 truckloads of aid to Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip. The aid includes supplies, food, drinking water, medicine and emergency medical supplies.

The development came amid indications that Israel and Hamas were ready to extend a ceasefire in Gaza, bringing an end to their deadliest and worst conflict. The cease-fire agreement was set to expire on Monday, following a fourth amendment to the detention plan involving Palestinian militants and detainees in Israeli prisons.

Israel has announced its intention to extend the curfew by one day for every 10 people released.
