Kenyan rapper Stevo Simple Boy is celebrating a significant milestone within his family as his wife, Brenda, has successfully completed her diploma in hospitality.
Stevo announced the achievement on Thursday, December 4, 2025, through his social media platforms, where he expressed admiration and heartfelt pride in her accomplishment. He shared a photo from the graduation ceremony alongside a warm message: “She believed, she conquered. Proud of you, my love.” The celebration follows months after the artiste disclosed that he first noticed Brenda at Utalii College.
Brenda has previously detailed how their relationship began in an unexpected way during a TikTok live session.
“I first saw him at Utalii College. He was live on TikTok, I joined the stream, and he later DM’d me saying we would talk afterwards,” she told Obinna TV during an interview on October 22, 2025.
Their online conversation soon led to plans for an in-person meeting. “We agreed to meet, and he sent me directions to Utalii College. I went using my former manager’s car,” she said.
A confusing first encounter
Their initial meeting left Brenda slightly puzzled.
“Kwanza alikuwa ananiconfuse juu sauti yake na machabe ilikuwa inafanana,” she recalled with a laugh.
After the brief encounter, Stevo requested a second meeting, which Brenda discussed with her sister, who expressed initial concern.
“I told my sister I was going to meet Stevo. We didn’t have classes that day. She asked if I knew him well and was worried, but I assured her I would be fine,” Brenda shared.
A genuine connection
During their second meeting, Stevo made an effort to create a comfortable environment.
“He sent money for my Uber, and when I arrived, he cooked ugali and sukuma for me. That’s when he told me he was single and looking for someone who would love him as he is,” she said.
Brenda was moved by his simplicity and sincerity, even though his living conditions were modest.
“There wasn’t much in his house. He had old second-hand chairs, and I found some clothes that needed washing I even washed his duvet. He was living with his brother,” she added.
