Morara Kebaso has broken his silence on the emotional toll of relentless social media bullying he faced over the past two years, describing it as one of the most painful chapters of his life.
In a candid video posted on X (formerly Twitter) , Kebaso recounted how insults and accusations directed at him online left him feeling deeply wounded and betrayed.
Struggles With Online Hate
Kebaso revealed that at first, he tried to ignore the trolling, but the attacks escalated to a point where it became unbearable. He said being labeled a “conman” by people he believed he was defending made him question whether his efforts were worth it.
“One of the most painful things that happened to me this year and last year was the social media bullying and the insults… I felt betrayed by the people I was trying to fight for,” he said.
The backlash, he admitted, left scars that are yet to fully heal.
Choosing to Move Forward
Despite the hurt, Kebaso stressed that he has found a way to move on and refocus on his mission. He said that although the pain still lingers, he refuses to allow the negativity to derail his purpose.
“However much I endured that pain, and I look back and I feel the pain from that moment, I have been able to move on. Leadership is a gift from God,” he stated.
Strength From Faith
Kebaso credited his faith and belief in divine purpose as his anchor, saying leadership is not about popularity but responsibility. He reiterated his commitment to continue his journey, despite past betrayals.
His reflections highlight the emotional toll of public scrutiny in the digital age, where online platforms can amplify both support and hostility in equal measure.
