Kutus, Kenya – Jubilee Party national officials have called for a scientific and transparent method to select their presidential flag bearer for the 2027 elections, rejecting any decisions made behind closed doors that could undermine the process.

National Chairman Vincent Kemosi Mogaka assured party members that nominations will be free and fair, emphasizing that no aspirants will receive direct nomination tickets. Speaking during an inspection of the Kirinyaga County Jubilee office, Mogaka stressed that boardroom selections would not determine the party’s presidential candidate.

He was joined by National Deputy Secretary General Zack Kinuthia and Kirinyaga County Jubilee Chairman Mureithi Kang’ara during the visit.

Mogaka further announced that party offices would be opened by presidential hopeful Fred Matiang’i in all 47 counties, signaling the start of preparations for the party’s internal electoral processes.

Meanwhile, Kang’ara encouraged aspirants interested in gubernatorial, senatorial, and other elective positions in Kirinyaga to register at the County Jubilee office, ensuring their participation in the nomination process.

The move reflects Jubilee’s commitment to an inclusive and structured approach ahead of the 2027 general elections, aiming to maintain party unity while providing equal opportunities for all aspirants.
