Beijing is hosting a major robotics exhibition that has attracted crowds with its showcase of embodied intelligence, bringing together industrial, service, and experimental robots across a sprawling 35,000 sq m venue.

The event, organised by the Beijing Artificial Intelligence Society in collaboration with industry partners, features over 600 exhibitors and runs until 20 March. Highlights include forums, live demonstrations, and interactive displays aimed at demonstrating AI integration across healthcare, manufacturing, and service sectors.

At Chaoyang Hall, traditional Chinese medicine robots analyzing tongue images and pulse data have drawn steady attention from attendees. Other standout exhibits include humanoid robots performing martial arts routines, quadruped robots navigating complex obstacle courses, and underwater rescue devices designed for disaster response.

Several systems at the expo demonstrate real-time AI learning, while others simulate zero-gravity navigation, reflecting the scope of robotics research in China. Organisers note that the event underscores the country’s push to embed artificial intelligence into practical applications while competing globally in the robotics industry.
