The gospel music fraternity is mourning the loss of renowned singer Regina Muthoni, best known for her timeless hit “Yesu Ulishinda.” The celebrated artist passed away on the night of Thursday, October 2, 2025, at her home in Githurai 44.
Her passing was confirmed by music director Ephantus Safari, who paid tribute to her profound impact on the gospel scene. In an emotional post, Safari described Regina as a true minister who used her voice to preach and inspire, leaving behind a legacy of faith and hope.
“Mama Regina’s music has touched countless lives, and her legacy will continue to inspire generations. We celebrate her life, her ministry through music, and the hope she carried in Christ,” Safari shared.
