Kenyan musician and entrepreneur Willy Paul has revealed details of a shocking break-in at one of his entertainment establishments, saying the attack was a planned act of theft disguised as a student riot.

In a statement shared on Instagram on October 10, 2025, the Saldido Records boss said a group of thugs stormed his pub on Thursday night, vandalised property, broke into his car, and stole high-end merchandise, including expensive alcohol.

“My shop was targeted by a group of hired goons who attempted to create the impression that the attack was carried out by students. In reality, their sole intention was theft,” Willy Paul wrote.

He further revealed that the attackers tried to tamper with surveillance footage by removing the CCTV hard drive but failed.

Police Investigate the Orchestrated Heist

The artist confirmed that he had reported the incident to the police, who have since launched investigations to identify and arrest the culprits.

“The police have been notified, and investigations are already underway. We are working closely with the authorities to apprehend those responsible,” he stated.

While the singer acknowledged that the raid caused significant financial loss, he expressed relief that no one was injured during the incident.

Business Continues Despite the Setback

Despite the attack, Willy Paul assured fans and patrons that his business remains operational and encouraged supporters to continue visiting the establishment.

“Our business remains open, and we appreciate your continued support during this time. See you all tonight at The Bar Next Door,” he added.

The incident has sparked mixed reactions online, with fans and fellow celebrities expressing sympathy and urging police to act swiftly.
