Kisii, Kenya – Police in Kisii County are investigating the tragic death of a 40-year-old woman, who was electrocuted while carrying out household chores at her home.

According to reports, Gladys Nyanchama Motari was electrocuted while hanging clothes at her residence in Embakasi Village, Masongo Location, Nyaribari Chache Constituency.

Officers at Kiogoro Police Station confirmed the incident, saying the victim was rushed to Christamarianne Mission Hospital. Despite efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries.

Her body has since been moved to the hospital’s mortuary as investigations continue.
