A tragic accident along the Southern Bypass in Langata, Nairobi County claimed the lives of two drivers on Monday, underscoring the dangers of one of the city’s most notorious black spots.
The Incident
The crash involved a trailer truck and a lorry traveling in the same direction from Kikuyu. According to Mugumuine area chief George Mukuria, the accident was caused by wrongful overtaking at high speed, leading the vehicles to smash into each other on the sides.
Both drivers died instantly, with their bodies remaining at the scene pending police processing before being transferred to the morgue.
