Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham have publicly wished their eldest son, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, a happy 27th birthday on Instagram, just two months after Brooklyn revealed tensions within the family.
In January, Brooklyn posted a six-page statement on Instagram accusing his parents of attempting to “ruin” his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz Beckham. He alleged that his mother cancelled plans to make Nicola’s wedding dress at the last minute and behaved inappropriately during the ceremony. He also claimed Nicola had been “consistently disrespected” by the Beckham family and that his father refused to see him during a visit for his birthday.
Despite the accusations, both parents shared heartfelt messages on Wednesday.
Sir David’s Tribute
Sir David Beckham posted childhood photos of Brooklyn, including one of the family in a swimming pool and another in black and white.
“Twenty-seven today,” he wrote, adding an emotional-eyes emoji and a white heart. “Happy birthday bust, we love you.”
“Buster” is David’s long-standing nickname for Brooklyn, which he has tattooed on his neck.
Lady Victoria’s Message
Lady Beckham also shared a photo of herself with Brooklyn as a toddler, writing:
“Happy 27th birthday Brooklyn, I love you so much,” accompanied by a string of heart emojis.
Disputed Wedding Claims
Brooklyn’s earlier claims about the wedding have been contested. DJ Fat Tony supported his account of an “awkward dance” with his mother, while singer Marc Anthony dismissed the allegations, saying the events had been misrepresented.
The Beckhams have not directly addressed Brooklyn’s accusations, but their public birthday tributes suggest an effort to maintain family ties despite ongoing tensions.
