YouTuber and social media influencer Jack Doherty was arrested early Saturday, November 15, 2025, in the Miami area on multiple charges, including drug possession, according to local authorities.

Police reports indicate that Doherty was filming content while attempting to engage with officers in the middle of a road, obstructing traffic in the process. During a subsequent search, officers reportedly found “half of an oval-shaped pill with a ‘3’ imprint, consistent with a Schedule II amphetamine,” along with three suspected cannabis cigarettes.

The 22-year-old influencer, known for provocative pranks and videos such as “I got kicked off a cruise” and “I crashed into a cop car,” has built a massive online following, with over 15 million subscribers on YouTube, 10 million followers on TikTok, and 2.8 million followers on Instagram.

Doherty was booked at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Centre and faces charges that include possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis, and resisting arrest. It is not yet clear if he has retained legal representation.

This incident adds to a growing list of controversies surrounding the influencer, who has previously faced criticism for public stunts that disrupt traffic or provoke law enforcement. Legal experts note that possession of a Schedule II substance without a prescription in Florida is a felony, carrying potentially severe penalties depending on prior offenses and case outcomes.

Authorities emphasized the need for social media influencers to exercise responsibility while filming public content, highlighting the risks such stunts pose to both the creator and the public.
