Vybz Kartel Hints at Possible Kenya Performance as Talks With Promoters Continue

Jamaican dancehall star Vybz Kartel has hinted at a possible performance in Kenya before the end of 2026, saying discussions with Kenyan promoters are currently underway.

The dancehall heavyweight made the remarks during an interview with Onstage TV Jamaica on Saturday, August 29, 2026, offering fresh hope to his Kenyan fan base, which has consistently expressed interest in seeing him perform locally.

Kartel said he was optimistic about visiting Kenya this year, highlighting the strong connection he has developed with fans in the country.

“Hopefully this year we are in dialogue with the Kenyans. ’Cause I’m officially one, so hopefully this year I’ll come,” he said.
