The family of the
late Obadiah Mokua Obwogo, 68, is said to have failed to meet demands by a morgue in Nakuru,
which has been holding the body of their kin for three months pending clearance
of a Ksh.412,000 bill.
According to
reports, the family was denied the release of the body from PNN Mortuary in Nakuru
despite paying Ksh.100,000 from contributions they have been struggling to
raise over the past three months.
Locals said the
family has been facing financial difficulties after the deceased’s brother was
also buried a few weeks ago.
PNN Funeral Services
requested time to review the deceased’s file before commenting on the matter.
