Veteran goalkeeper Manuel Neuer believes Bayern Munich are well-prepared to exploit Paris Saint-Germain’s weaknesses as the German giants gear up for their Champions League away clash against the defending title holders on Tuesday night.

Last season, PSG lifted the Champions League trophy at Bayern’s Allianz Arena, thrashing Inter Milan 5-0 in a dominant display. However, this time, Bayern arrive at the Parc des Princes in outstanding form, having won all 15 matches across all competitions a record-breaking start to their campaign and the best ever in Europe’s top five leagues.

Neuer, who has lifted the Champions League trophy twice with Bayern, said the team has a well-defined approach to counter the French champions.

“Both teams like to dominate possession that’s no secret and maybe neither of us enjoys defending too much,” Neuer told reporters.
“There will be moments to counter-attack. We need to stay sharp, organized, and disciplined against such fast, talented players. That’s exactly how we plan to hurt Paris.”

Kane Leading Bayern’s Relentless Charge

Central to Bayern’s record-breaking run has been Harry Kane, who has not only been prolific but also pivotal in the team’s attacking structure. The England captain has already scored 22 goals in 15 matches while contributing creatively by dropping deeper to link up play.

Head coach Vincent Kompany praised Kane’s growing influence, saying his understanding of his role has matured this season.

“It’s about creating the right conditions for Harry to do what he does best, while also ensuring he’s in the right positions to finish,” Kompany explained.
“He’s evolved in how he interprets the role he’s not playing a completely different position from last year, but his awareness and decision-making have taken another step forward.”

With Neuer’s experience anchoring the backline and Kane’s lethal form up front, Bayern enter the clash confident and composed determined to exact revenge on PSG and continue their perfect start to the season.
