President William Ruto has reiterated his government’s ambitious vision to elevate Kenya from a third-world to a first-world country, emphasizing that his administration possesses the plans, resources, and determination to achieve the goal. Speaking in Samburu County on Sunday, November 9, 2025, during the groundbreaking of the Archer’s Post Affordable Housing Project, Ruto challenged critics and opposition leaders who have repeatedly dismissed his development agenda.

“They lack vision, planning, and policies. They claim Kenya cannot move from a third-world to a first-world nation. You did not believe in anything, but we will surprise you. Kenya will rise within our lifetime,” Ruto told a cheering crowd.

The President pointed to recent progress in housing, healthcare, and infrastructure as evidence that the government can deliver on ambitious projects once deemed impossible.

“Did they not say hospitals, healthcare, and housing were unachievable? It is possible! I know it can be done with your support, your votes, and God’s guidance,” he said.

Ruto described the Archer’s Post project as part of a nationwide initiative aimed at providing affordable homes, creating employment, and improving livelihoods. He added that the project will stimulate local industries, encourage innovation in construction technology, and strengthen the economy.

“Our housing agenda is not just about shelter; it is about creating opportunities, jobs, and restoring dignity to Kenyan families,” he said.

Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to Kenya’s transformation, the President highlighted the role of planning, innovation, and disciplined execution.

“We have the vision, the plans, and the resources to make it happen. Those who doubt us will be surprised when Kenya emerges as a global model of growth and transformation,” Ruto declared.

He concluded by urging Kenyans to remain patient and united as the government rolls out projects designed to empower citizens and elevate national development.
