Popular TikTok creator Manzi Wa Mombasa has announced plans to celebrate the first birthday of her daughter, Baby Chira, at Salvation Healing Ministry in Kayole Junction.

In a video shared on TikTok on Saturday, January 3, 2026, Manzi Wa Mombasa invited the public to join the celebrations at Pastor Kanyari’s church, emphasizing the event as both a thanksgiving and community gathering.

“Hi guys, it’s Manzi Wa Mombasa here, and I am with Baby Chira. Baby Chira will be turning one year old on January 15. Though the birthday is on the 15th, we will celebrate at Salvation Healing Ministry on January 18. Everyone is welcome to join us,” she said.

The celebration is scheduled for January 18, 2026, and will feature prayers, blessings, and a gathering of family, friends, and members of the local community.

Baby Chira’s Growth Update

Just two days prior, on December 31, 2025, Manzi Wa Mombasa shared an update on Baby Chira’s eating habits. She revealed that while she prepares meals including greens, ugali, and vegetables, the child often refuses to eat directly, instead playing with the food and pouring it on the sofa.

“I even tried cutting the ugali into small pieces and mixing it with cabbage, but it didn’t work. He prefers to feed himself, and the good thing is he still eats afterwards. Because the sofa is clean, I am not worried,” she explained.

Manzi Wa Mombasa described the child’s behaviour as a sign of independence and determination to feed himself.

Remembering Brian Chira

Baby Chira was named in honour of Brian Chira, a late TikTok content creator and HIV advocate, who tragically passed away in a hit-and-run accident on March 16, 2024, in Kiambu County at the age of 23.

Manzi Wa Mombasa was part of Brian Chira’s close circle, which included creators such as LGBTQ TikToker Jude Magambo (Manzi Wa Meru), Mombasa influencer Chesoni, and other prominent social media personalities.

The upcoming birthday celebration is expected to be a heartfelt occasion, blending family, faith, and community in honour of Baby Chira’s first year.
