Kenyan businessman and entertainment promoter Bolo Bespoke has shared plans to upgrade his vehicle later this year, following a recent gift from his wife, who surprised him with a Toyota Prado.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, December 4, 2025, Bolo showcased the SUV and hinted that this was just the beginning of his car upgrade journey. “This is just a small car my wife bought me recently. But now, before the year ends, it’s time for the King to gift himself a serious machine,” he wrote, also asking followers which luxury car would best suit his brand and lifestyle. “Which car truly befits the Luo kingpin and CEO of Luo Festival as I gear up to deliver Golden Circle tickets across the country?”

The announcement comes months after his wife, Mueni, addressed speculation regarding her extravagant Ksh10 million Father’s Day gift a brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser. In an Instagram video shared on June 16, 2025, Mueni clarified that the purchase was entirely funded by her, dismissing claims that it came from their joint business savings.

“It’s not a prank. The car cost ten million. It’s my money. You cannot surprise someone using their own money,” she said.

Mueni, who recently opened a fashion store, explained her choice of the Land Cruiser over a more expensive option, like a Range Rover, was intentional, allowing her to present a meaningful gift while staying within her budget. When Bolo jokingly asked, “Are we broke?” she replied, “I did not want to buy you a Range Rover because I just opened the store recently,” highlighting her careful balancing of personal gestures with new business commitments.

In the video, Bolo appeared surprised and sought clarification that the Ksh10 million came solely from Mueni’s personal funds. She reassured him, saying, “This is not on us, it is on me,” confirming that not a single coin from their joint business was used.
