Kenyan gospel artist Mr Seed and his wife, Nimo, survived a road accident that left fans and well-wishers shaken.

Taking to social media on Friday, January 2, 2025, Nimo expressed gratitude for their safety, reflecting on the frightening experience.

“If you would tell me this is how my year would start, singeamini… Still unbelievable. Thank you, God, for preserving our lives,” she wrote.

The couple did not share detailed information about the accident, but their message emphasized the fragility of life and the importance of gratitude.

Moi’s Bridge Accident

The incident comes weeks after a tragic road accident in Moi’s Bridge town along the busy Kitale-Eldoret Highway on December 10, 2025, which claimed the life of one woman and left several others critically injured. The accident involved a tipper lorry, a public service vehicle, multiple other vehicles, and a donkey-drawn cart.

Eyewitness Edwin Kimutai, co-driver of the tipper, said that their lorry developed a mechanical problem before colliding with a matatu, causing fatalities and serious injuries.

“We had just left Matunda with some building blocks, and when we arrived near the Shell petrol station, our tipper’s pressure pipe was damaged and disconnected from the gear,” Kimutai explained.

“The driver tried to engage the gears but could not control the lorry. We hooted to alert other road users, but no one reacted until the vehicle hit the first vehicle.”

Some of the injured were treated and discharged at Moi’s Bridge Health Centre, while others were referred to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret and Wamalwa Kijana Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kitale, Trans Nzoia County.

While Mr Seed and Nimo’s accident details remain scarce, the couple’s safe outcome provides relief to their fans, highlighting the unpredictable nature of life and the importance of safety on Kenya’s busy roads.
