Nairobi, Kenya – Digital content creator Milly Chebby has revealed details of a painful health ordeal, disclosing that she suffered an ectopic pregnancy while using a contraceptive coil in 2025.
In a candid video uploaded to her official YouTube channel on Thursday, February 12, 2026, Milly recounted the experience, describing the intense pain, surgery, and recovery that followed.
“I got an ectopic pregnancy and am on the coil; in fact, when those guys were checking, they could tell me the coil is still intact,” she said.
Surgery and Recovery
Milly explained that the ordeal began with heavy bleeding and unbearable abdominal pain while staying at a hotel in Mombasa. Initially dismissing the symptoms as cramps, she later rushed to hospital where doctors confirmed the ectopic pregnancy.
She underwent emergency surgery, which left her bedridden for weeks.
“I was in so much pain, and it took me a whole May to heal because it happened at the end of April, but now I am good,” she shared.
In a previous video posted on May 7, 2025, Milly described how quickly the situation escalated, recalling the shock of internal bleeding and the emotional moment when her husband, comedian Terence Creative, celebrated the pregnancy test without knowing the danger she was facing.
Support System
After her recovery, Milly expressed gratitude to her husband and her online community.
“I am loved by my family and friends. Thank you so much, my babe Terence Creative I love you. TikTok family, I see the love thank you so much for all the quick recovery messages and comments,” she wrote.
Her openness resonated with fans, many of whom followed her journey through live updates and social media posts.
Lessons for Creatives
Milly also reflected on the realities behind the glamorous lifestyles often portrayed online, cautioning that many creatives struggle financially despite appearances.
“Usione watu wanaflows magari na manyumba online, then you think that is the reality. Sometimes, they are paid to do that. Instead, they should be able to live real life,” she noted.
Conclusion
Milly Chebby’s story highlights both the personal challenges faced by women navigating reproductive health and the importance of support systems during recovery. By sharing her experience, she has sparked conversations around awareness, resilience, and the realities behind the lives of digital creators.
