Dancer and content creator Moya David has addressed swirling social media rumours claiming he has been disappearing with clients’ gifts and his apparent weight gain is tied to the alleged misconduct.

In an interview with YouTuber Vickie Vickinah on Monday, October 13, 2025, Moya dismissed the claims as “idle gossip,” insisting that all gifts he delivers including money and flowers always reach their intended recipients.

“Those stories of me running off with gifts are just online gossip,” he said, clarifying that the allegations have been blown out of proportion.

Moya also explained his reduced presence online, noting that he now caters to high-end, private clients who prefer to keep their surprises off social media. He said this shift has kept him just as busy, if not more, despite his lower public visibility.

“I did not take a break at all. Most of my clients now value privacy, so I don’t post their moments like before,” he added.

Addressing speculation about his weight gain, Moya attributed it to comfort and success not corruption or sponsorship. He revealed that he continues to earn well from his surprise gigs, calling it a “real job that pays.”

He also brushed off claims that he is being funded by “sugar mammies,” maintaining that his growth is the result of hard work and consistency, not handouts.

On body shaming, Moya said he has learned to embrace change and maturity, viewing physical transformation as a normal part of life.

“I like this version of me. Growth comes with change, and that’s perfectly normal,” he said confidently.

Despite the noise online, Moya David remains firm that his career is thriving and so is he.
