The National Police Service Commission (NPSC) has released an addendum clarifying and correcting recruitment centres for the ongoing exercise to enlist police constables into the National Police Service.
The update, issued in a public notice on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, follows the initial advertisement published on September 19 and 20, 2025. The commission confirmed that some venues had been omitted, while others were inaccurately listed in the earlier announcement.
“The National Police Service Commission wishes to inform the public of the following clarifications, additions, and corrections to the designated recruitment centres,” the notice read.
New and Corrected Recruitment Centres
According to the addendum, several additional venues have now been scheduled. On October 7, 2025, recruitment will take place at Nuu TVET Grounds (Kitui), Sabuli (Wajir), Zombe Stadium (Kitui), Kokane (Tana River), and Onunga Stadium (Homa Bay), among others.
On October 8, 2025, centres include Kibun’ga (Tharaka Nithi), Thuura Secondary (Meru), Old Municipal Stadium (Kitui), and Mwiru Playground (Kiambu Githurai). On October 9, 2025, venues such as Mathuki DCC’s Grounds (Kitui Mwingi East) and Pan Paper Grounds (Bungoma Webuye East) will also host recruitment.
Several corrections were also made to previously advertised centres. For example:
- Kilifi North recruitment will now be at Karisa Maitha Stadium (October 3).
- Embakasi Central will take place at Humama Grounds, while Embakasi South shifts to Dandora Stadium.
- Bungoma West will now use Sirisia Sports Grounds (October 6).
Other changes affect centres in Homa Bay, Kiambu, Kilifi, Kitui, Kwale, and Tharaka Nithi counties.
NYS Graduates and Application Process
The NPSC further encouraged National Youth Service (NYS) graduates who meet the minimum qualifications to apply but emphasized that they will be recruited from their respective counties.
Applicants are reminded to download and print the official application form from the NPSC website and to rely only on official communication channels for accurate information.
NPSC CEO Peter Leley confirmed that all other details in the initial advertisement remain unchanged and urged applicants to take note of the revised venues.
