Media personality and travel entrepreneur Sarah Mtalii has revealed that her social media inbox is constantly filled with people expressing serious romantic interest—but she’s not entertaining any of it for now.

Speaking in a candid YouTube interview with Kajim on Monday, October 6, 2025, Sarah said her direct messages are flooded with admirers ranging from pilots and doctors to politicians, both in Kenya and abroad. Many of them, she noted, are divorced or separated and appear genuinely interested in marriage.

“I have gotten some very interesting DMs,” she shared. “Sometimes they even send screenshots of people who are seriously interested in dating me with the intention of marrying. But at the moment, my mind is not ready for that kind of relationship.”

Sarah emphasized that while she appreciates the attention, her current focus is on building her travel business and expanding her foundation’s charitable work, not pursuing romance.

When asked about younger admirers, Sarah laughed and dismissed approaches from Gen Z suitors, saying they should stay out of her DMs unless they’re interested in business or philanthropy.
“Gen Z kwanza, I had to tell them to keep off my DM,” she said. “If they are coming, let them come to buy a holiday or support the foundation. They are so mannerless—I feel like I’m their mother.”

Looking ahead, Sarah said she would only consider dating someone mature and over 40, ideally a widower or divorcee who has learned from past experiences. “Tutaskiza story tujue were you the problem? But I know people reform,” she joked.

For now, Sarah says love can wait as she continues to grow her career and focus on her mission to empower others through her ventures.
