Tanzanian singer Ibrahim Abdalla Nampunga, popularly known as Ibraah, has opened up about his decision to expand his management team and his recent marriage — offering fans a glimpse into both his professional growth and personal milestones.
Speaking in an interview with a Tanzanian YouTuber on Friday, October 10, 2025, the Nitachelewa hitmaker revealed that he now works with two main managers — one from Tanzania and another from Kenya — as part of efforts to streamline operations and promote regional unity within East Africa.
“Right now, I have two managers, one from Tanzania and one from Kenya,” Ibraah said. “I wanted the one from Kenya because we are all East Africans and united, but also having someone from Kenya makes it much easier to handle things quickly.”
He added that the decision was also driven by the need to strengthen his brand’s international reach and coordination across different markets.
Expanding His Management Network
Beyond his East African management duo, Ibraah revealed plans to work with additional representatives from Burundi and South Africa, whom he intends to introduce formally soon.
“I also have other managers whom I will introduce soon; one is in Burundi and another in South Africa,” he explained.
The move reflects a broader strategy by the Tanzanian star to decentralize his operations and ensure better collaboration across regions as his fan base continues to grow continent-wide.
A New Chapter: Marriage
In addition to career developments, Ibraah confirmed that he is now married, following a quiet ceremony in Burundi.
“It is true that I went to Burundi to get married, and I am now a husband,” he shared. “I had kept this private because I don’t like people comparing my affairs with others, especially marriages. I prefer to keep my matters lowkey.”
He said that although he tried to maintain privacy, news of his wedding eventually surfaced online, catching him by surprise. Despite that, he expressed gratitude for how smoothly everything unfolded.
“My father-in-law called me and said he would arrange a small celebration for me and my spouse, since some time had already passed,” Ibraah added with appreciation.
Staying Grounded Amid Success
Known for his humility and focus, Ibraah stressed that he prefers to keep his personal life private while continuing to expand his professional footprint across Africa.
His latest decisions — both personal and managerial — highlight his growing influence as one of Tanzania’s leading artists and his commitment to fostering unity and collaboration within the East African music scene.
