Popular TikToker Vincent Kaluma, better known as Kaluma Boy, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Kenyans for the overwhelming support shown during a fundraiser for his ailing father on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Speaking in a TV interview the following day, Kaluma described the turnout and generosity as “nothing short of a miracle,” saying his family had been humbled by the love and solidarity extended to them.

“I never expected so many people to come and support me. This is the work of God; He made people love and help me. It is His grace,” he said.

Kaluma explained that when he began posting videos of his father’s illness in July, his intention was simply to share the reality of living with a sick parent, not to seek financial help. However, followers encouraged him to continue, assuring him that well-wishers online would notice. That advice sparked a wave of compassion and contributions that have now been directed toward his father’s treatment.

The TikToker pledged that all donations would be used to improve his father’s health and well-being. He also urged young people to stand by their parents in times of hardship, calling it both a moral duty and a source of blessings.

“Support your parents, and you will receive blessings that can transform your own life,” he noted.

Kaluma added that the experience has motivated him to work even harder to change his family’s situation while remaining deeply thankful for the unity Kenyans displayed in his time of need.
