Middle-Aged Man Found Murdered Near Moi Girls School in Makueni

Makueni County, Kenya — Police in Makueni County have launched investigations after the body of an unidentified middle-aged man was discovered near Moi Girls School, along the border of Nguumo and Makindu locations.

The man was found with severe injuries, including stab wounds to the stomach and a deep cut to the throat, according to Makindu Location Chief Jackson Kimende.

Police Investigate Possible Body Dumping

Preliminary investigations suggest the man may have been killed at a different location before his body was transported and abandoned at the scene.

Police told Citizen Digital that the deceased had not yet been identified, and investigators are working to establish his identity as they piece together the circumstances surrounding his death.

Authorities have not disclosed whether any suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident.

Body Moved to Hospital Mortuary

Following the discovery, police officers secured the scene and began collecting evidence that could assist in determining where and how the man was killed.

The deceased's body has since been moved to the Makindu Hospital mortuary, where it is being held as investigations continue.
