Political activist and Borabu MP aspirant Morara Kebaso has addressed growing speculation surrounding his marriage and claims about his relationship with another woman.

Kebaso responded to the discussion in a statement on X, explaining that he had initially chosen not to speak publicly about his family but felt compelled to address the issue after what he described as misinformation began circulating online.

“I will not want to discuss my family on social media,” Kebaso said.

He explained that his previous experiences had shown him that silence could leave room for people to create their own narratives in the absence of verified information.

“The absence of factual information makes falsehood the only available information,” he added.

Morara Speaks About His Wife Mercy

In his statement, Kebaso acknowledged Mercy as the mother of his three children and called on members of the public to accord her the respect she deserves.

“Mercy has earned her place of high respect as the mother of 3 children,” he said.

Kebaso identified his children as Zainah Morara, Garang Morara and MK Junior.

He also urged the public to respect the way individual families choose to handle their private affairs, noting that different households may have different values and approaches to personal matters.

“Every home and family has its own way of doing things. Your values are not our values. Your choices are not our choices,” Kebaso said.

His comments come amid online speculation about the state of his marriage and unverified claims that he had moved on from Mercy with another woman.

Pauline Mentioned in Morara's Statement

Kebaso also made a separate reference to a woman named Pauline, expressing support for her work.

“As for Pauline, I think she is doing a great job. 100% support,” he said.

He did not provide further details about the nature of his relationship with Pauline in the statement.

Morara Wants Focus Shifted to Politics

The Borabu MP aspirant appeared keen to steer the conversation away from his private life and back to his political ambitions.

Kebaso said he had the permission and blessing of his family to continue serving the country and urged the public to allow him to concentrate on his political responsibilities.

“I have the permission and blessing of my family to serve the nation as a leader who can make a difference. Allow me to be laser-focused on that,” he said.

Kebaso concluded by encouraging Kenyans to focus their attention on issues that need to be maintained or fixed rather than continuing to speculate about his personal life.

His remarks come as he continues to position himself for a political role in Borabu, with his public profile remaining a subject of considerable attention both online and in political circles.
