US rap star Cardi B has announced the birth of her fourth child and first with American footballer Stefon Diggs. The Grammy-winning artist shared the news on Instagram, saying, “I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby in my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else.” Her announcement follows the release of her highly anticipated sophomore album Am I The Drama? last month.

Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, shares three children with her estranged husband, rapper Offset. She filed for divorce from the Migos member in July 2024. While she has not provided details about the birth, her spokesperson confirmed to People magazine that the couple welcomed a healthy baby boy.

Diggs, the New England Patriots wide receiver, revealed the child’s sex during a red-carpet appearance earlier this month. “It’s a boy. That’s enough for me,” he told People, adding that he looked forward to raising his son and encouraging an active lifestyle. This marks Diggs’ second child; he has a 9-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

In a post on Instagram, Cardi B reflected on her personal growth and new beginnings. Sharing a clip from her single Hello, she alluded to moving forward after her split with Offset. She emphasized that her focus on self-improvement allows her to continue giving her children the love and life they deserve.

“This next chapter is Me vs. Me! It’s me against all odds, me against everything meant to get in my way,” she wrote, adding that she is preparing for a tour tied to her new album and readying herself for the “performance of a lifetime.” Cardi B concluded by celebrating her personal growth: “I’ve learned I’ve healed, and I’m loving the woman I’ve become! That’s what this next era means to me, and I’m stepping into it better than ever.”
