Willis Raburu Thanks Nairobi Residents After Linda Mwananchi Rally

NAIROBI — Media personality Willis Raburu has thanked Nairobi residents for what he described as a warm reception following the Linda Mwananchi rally held in the capital on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

Raburu shared his message on Monday, expressing gratitude to those who attended the political gathering while urging Kenyans to remain hopeful and engaged as the country approaches the 2027 General Election.

“Nairobi, thank you for the warm reception. Nawapenda pia. What can we say? Asanteni!” Raburu said.

‘In 331 Days We Can Still Change This Country’

In his message, Raburu pointed to the time remaining before the next General Election, saying Kenyans still have an opportunity to influence the country's direction.

“In 331 days we can still change this country,” he said.

He encouraged Kenyans not to lose hope and urged them to remain committed to the causes they believe in.

“Don’t give up. Stay the course! Keep hope alive and your voters’ card ready!” he added.

Raburu has increasingly used his public platform to comment on social and political issues, particularly as political activity builds ahead of the 2027 polls.

Beyond politics, Raburu used his message to encourage Kenyans to recognise their own achievements.

He argued that success should not only be associated with prominent or wealthy individuals, saying ordinary people also have reasons to take pride in their accomplishments.

“Meanwhile, I will always remind us to celebrate ourselves as well because successful people look like you,” Raburu said.

He concluded his message with an expression of appreciation and unity.
