Gbag Na Jug hitmaker Stoopid Boy has died, prompting an outpouring of grief from fans, friends and fellow artistes.
The news of his death was confirmed on Thursday, August 27, 2026, by singer Jay Classic, a close friend of the artiste. In a video shared on Facebook, Jay said he had travelled to Gotha City, where Stoopid Boy’s body was, as family, friends and members of the community gathered at his home.
“I am here at Gotha City, and Stoopid Boy has indeed died,” Jay said.
The singer described the situation as painful, noting that Stoopid Boy’s manager, Casto, had also arrived at the home following news of the death.
According to Jay, a large number of mourners had gathered at the artiste’s residence as they came to terms with the loss.
He appealed to the public to pray for Stoopid Boy’s family and asked for strength for those affected by the tragedy.
The death has also been made more painful by another recent loss in the family. Jay said Stoopid Boy had lost his brother only about two months earlier.
He expressed concern for the artiste’s mother, saying the latest tragedy had left her grieving the loss of her children.
